Background on the martial arts course - basis
Martial art is an acquired physical skill, the main purpose of which is to improve the ability to fight in face-to-face combat, but it has additional values, such as artistic value, the ability to control the body, the improvement of cognitive abilities, and the like.
The program is intended for all those engaged in instruction in the various martial arts that are not recognized by SportAccord, such as: self-defense, Krav Maga, survival, capoeira, mixed martial arts, etc.
The purpose of the martial arts course is to train martial arts instructors with broad professional knowledge in subjects such as sports science, personal technique, personal tactics, methodology, safety in training, physical preparation for children, physical fitness, training methods and training.
The courses at the Levinsky-Wingate Academic Center train instructors in various martial arts specialties. The course takes place according to the sports director's curriculum

Scope of study:
50-90 hours of theoretical studies in sports science (according to the chosen branch) 117-148 hours of study in the theory of the branch of martial arts (according to the chosen branch) a first aid course of 28 hours.
The curriculum in the martial arts course:
The curriculum was determined in accordance with the instructions of the sports director. The study topics in the theoretical chapter (sports science): anatomy, physiology, training theory, psychology. In training, requirements for passing a rank in martial arts, professional ethics, constitution and organization of theoretical/practical competitions. During the course, experience in instructing various martial arts will be required (internship)
Certification:
A course graduate who successfully passes the final exams and who has completed his obligation to carry out the internship attachment procedure as detailed in the industry program, will receive a "basic martial art instructor" certificate and may instruct in martial methods that are not recognized by Accord Sport
The qualification certificate will only be given to a trainee who has a first aid certificate for at least 28 hours which is valid as of the date the qualification certificate is issued
Admission requirements for the martial arts course:
The candidate is a graduate of the 11th grade and will present a certificate - according to his school and has a proven background and experience in the branch studied as required by the admission conditions that appear in the training program and will present a certificate according to the club/institute where he trained. A certificate of completion of the course will be awarded to the trainee who has turned 17. A personal interview and a practical test.
